State Parks Birding Cruises

Can anyone tell me if the boat goes out for birding at any other times than end of December and early Feb?
Thanks

Which boat? If you are referring to the Vanishing Texas River Cruise, they have cruises and charters available year-round. Check out their schedule.

There are many birding cruises throughout the state of Texas, especially on the coast. If you're asking about a particular one, please describe it or where it's located in the state and I'll do my best to find you the answer.

Thanks!

Silly me, I just assumed everyone knows about the all day trip. The State Park boat leaves Port O'Connor for the best birding cruise I have ever taken. I missed this Dec and Feb both. Was wondering if anyone knew if it goes out again in the spring when the Whooping Cranes are in.

The whooping cranes only spend the winters down here. They will be taking wing to head back to their breeding grounds in Canada before April is over. The whoopers start coming down south in late October and most/all of them are gone by mid-April. Peak viewing is in January or early February.

Here's the schedule & information on the TPWD Ferry operating out of Port O'Connor.
