Snakes, Spiders And Other Venomous Creatures

We've started a pretty good discussion on these creatures under another topic. So I thought I'd post a new thread. I've seen two coral snakes on separate trips, while hiking on the Lone Star Trail. What a beautiful snake but very shy. Both times it crawled off rapidly. I've not been biten by a snake or spider but have been stung by a Man-O-War. I can't remember if it was in the waters of Galveston or Surfside as it was many years ago. Like Kai has said about the jellyfish, it was painful but not terrible.
