Question Hummers. So Where Are They This Year???

Live south of Ft. Worth and have had my feeder up for three weeks now. Haven't seen a one (thought I heard one behind me last week but nothing when I turned). Any one doing any better?

Very, very slow this year. Have only seen 3 at the feeder so far. Almost took it down this week but saw #3 so decided to go another week. We'll see what happens. Costs next to nothing to keep it going but there is the time involved.

I've only seen one so far this year and that was all I ever saw last year too, but that was the first year I had put out a feeder. I'll keep it out since I saw him yesterday...Maybe he'll tell his friends!

Probably not. They tend to be greedy little buggers and will fight over a feeder at times.

I have a couple more but not near like other years. Oh, well. Hummingbird "soup" is cheap and easy to make so I'll keep it going for the rest of the year and hope for better in '13.

Well, they hit my feeder quick this year. Got home from Inks last week and put feeder out last Friday. Saw 2 today and there may have been more around that I missed. Glad to see a quick hit. Their fun to watch and add to life!
