We have had a invasion of hummers in our area.Today while putting up feeders they just keep flying in in large numbers,looks like a good year for the little boogers.

BIRDS!!! :laugh: I'm so sorry! I misunderstood. I thought you meant the General Motor's Hummer 1 - 3. I know they are gas guzzlers, but I love them. Sorry! Yes, I love hummingbirds, too. I have feeders on the back porch.

Thats ok David ,we have been feeding them for years ,but this is the most we have had coming in feeding.They emptied a couple of small feeders in just a couple of hours,neat:thumbsup:.

The hummers have made it as far north as Palo Pinto county.

Got back yeasterday from 11 days at Kerrville-Shreiner park. Had a pretty good trip and saw/heard a number of hummers buzzing around. Got a pot of water coming to a boil as I type and will have my feeder up by morning. I'm betting 4 hours until I have my first two hummers fussing over who "owns" the feeder:laugh:!

Well we are back to normal amounts of hummers now I guess anothers have started moving more north.Still have above normal numbers ,but not the waves they were coming in at.They are still amazing lit'l birds.

My son loves to feed them,Ihave to clean his nose prints on windows 3-4 times a day.
