Orca Live, an information-packed site that brings the world the live voices and images of wild orcas ("killer whales") via six hydrophones and five cameras (four underwater) off Hanson Island near Vancouver Island, Canada -- a prime orca observation locale in North America. The site is owned and operated by the
OrcaLab which was founded in 1970 by Dr. Paul Spong to study orcas not in captivity, "...but living unbound in their natural habitat..." Dr. Spong has spent more than 30 years researching wild orcas.
