Bluebonnets, Paintbrushes and Eagles!!!

Hi all!

Just got back from 8 days at Kerrville-Schriener Park. Had a great time and will have a review up in a week or two. Until then, I wanted all to know that if you like wildflowers, we've got a great year in progress! We've had enough rain that the flowers are out there to be seen and this is the time to take advantage of it. Wildflowers are abundant on 16 between Kerrville and Llano. 29 from Llano to Burnett isn't bad and the flowers are very strong from Burnett all the way to Hico. We also saw some good displays around Glen Rose. We were also very fortunate this morning to see one of the eagles landing at the Llano Nest as we passed by. Couldn't stop as the drop-off from the road to shoulder is greater then I was willing to risk with our "5th". DW was able to snap some pix and they will be included in my review of Kerrville-Schriener Park.

Get out and take a look. I don't believe you'll be disappointed.

Happy Camping!

Sounds like a wonderful trip. How were the RV sites at that park?

Depends what you want but they run from "fair" to "very good". They have everything from back-in w/water & 30amp service all the way to pull-thru, F/U, 50/30 amp service. They've done a nice job on that park since the city took it back. As stated above, I'm working on a full review and it will be up in a couple of weeks. Will include pictures. Until then and always,

Happy Camping!
