Tejas Camp Lake Georgetown

Greetings to all
I am planning a trip this weekend to Lake Georgetown. I will be hiking into Tejas Camp. Anyone been there? Comments or pointers would be great. I am very impressed with this sight/forum keep up the good work.

Re: Tejas Camp Lake Georgetown

Hi Longhunter,

Welcome to Wild Texas! You're right this is an awesome site!

Have you done a search about Lake Georgetown? I had posted a thread a little while ago and didn't get any responses, but I was looking for information about more developed camping there. When I did a seach I remember it turned up a thread or two about the great hiking trails there and the primitive camping you can hike to. I think this is the link to the thread, but there may be other posts too if you search: http://www.wildtexas.com/talk/showth...ake+georgetown

Here's another thread I found: http://www.wildtexas.com/talk/showth...ake+georgetown

Have a great time!! ~Amy
