Parrie Haynes Ranch in Killeen

Ok everyone. I get it the Dino park is a BAD IDEA for backpacking. We have already done Lake Mineral Wells. We are looking for somewhere different. What does anyone know about Parrie Haynes Ranch in Killeen? We are heading out this weekend for the trip and we are still looking for the right spot.

Re: Parrie Haynes Ranch in Killeen

We aren't backpackers since my 6 yo can't carry enough! Haven't heard about Prarrie Haynes. I have seen some of the primitive sites at Lost Maples. If it isn't to far for you, try that, late October/early November. The leaves should be just right.
