I am looking for a place to go for about a three day hiking/camping trip. It will be a small group or people (probably 5-8 people). I am looking for a place that will be challenging, but also not so hard that we can not enjoy ourselves. None of us will be very experienced hikers, but we are all young and in good shape. We are looking mostly for a place with pretty scenery and good trails.

Well, there are a couple of places in the hill country that you couldn't go wrong with. Lost Maples has some very scenic trails, some of which are pretty steep. Also Enchanted Rock is always a lot of fun to explore.
I'm not sure what part of the state you're interested in. Beaches? Forests? Desert?

Lost Maples would be nice. Camp by the pond which is a dammed stream and enjoy the day hiling?

Lots of places to go but you may want to give a little more info.

There are also places you can hike and drop suplies close to your camp spot so you don't have to carry them all.
