Re: looking for partner

i can't do monday - must work. i am working on a really huge project right now, so i can't even take vacation anytime soon. work can be such a drab sometimes...well most of the time!

if we need to try another weekend, that's fine with me.

i have got to start conditioning for my spring trip. i slacked off for my fall trip and paid the price when i got out there. i don't want to do that again, makes hard that much harder. the more hiking i can get in, the better. so i will probably be wearing my weekend pack with some extra weight in it.

TWO PILLOWS? don't hurt yourself, i was just thinking of carrying two socks, instead of just one.

Re: looking for partner

Two socks! Dang Brett, you are one tough customer.
Not looking to good weatherwise? Maybe we should rethink things. Nobody seems to want to trudge through consistant rain and 3" of muck (me included). What do you think????

Re: looking for partner

i would have to say that saturday has been omitted due to the consistent forecast of rain. sunday is supposed to be nice, but we would be ladoring the previous days' onslaught of precipitation. if we need to wait until next weekend, that's fine with me. i have a friend that wants me to help him move some stuff and workout with him. so i will get some much needed conditioning in one way or another.

just let me know what the consensus is.

Re: looking for partner

Monday is a holiday for me, but Brett said he has to work. What about Sunday?

What do ya'll think about Huntsville SP rather than LST? We know the trail conditions there.....?

Re: looking for partner

As much as I hate to say it, doesn't look like things are going to come together for this weekend. Probably best to take our chance for next weekend (Jan 24). By then we may also have an LST route.

Re: looking for partner

They did not reply? Kinda strange considering they are trying to promote hiking?
If the sun is shining I was going to ride the bike. I need a bike fix! But cannot rule it out?
