Lightbulb Looking for backpacking partner in Fort Worth?

Hi, I'm a 20 yr old male looking for anybody interested in backpacking and trekking that lives near fort worth. No car at the moment, but I have all the gear and equipment for at least 2 other people, so if you are lacking the experience or equipment but want to try it, email me at klaroque@hotmail.com if interested. Thanks.

Kyle

Hi, I like to camp and to backpack. I have all of my own gear. I live about a half hour north of fort worth and would enjoy not always going it alone.

You guys should check out www.adventureteam.com

It's an outdoor recreation group in the DFW area. They do alot of backpacking, camping and hiking.

Here's our growing wildtexas.com list of Texas backpacking & hiking clubs. You will find some in there based in the DFW area. One that I know of is thee Sierra Club -- they do a lot of outings, and you don't have to be a tree hugger to participate (though most hikers & backpackers know the merits of trees/nature, even if they don't advertise themselves as "tree huggers" or environmentalists. Hard to enjoy nature and not want to see it protected and managed properly.
