I moved back to Texas after living in Arizona for 8 years. I had some friends that I went backpacking with in AZ. I am hoping to make some new friends here that I can go on trips with. Nothing major just 3-4 friends or so to plan trips with. I live in Lubbock and work as a nurse. I usually get 3-4 days off a week for little short trips. I would take time off work but I plan on getting married in April and my time is saved up for the honeymoon then. Someone who lives in the Lubbock area would be awesome but I am happy just meeting up with friends at a trailhead somewhere. I was thinking about going to either the Guadalupes (where I hiked as a kid), or Big Bend (never been there) sometime in the near future. It is easy for me to meet up in New Mexico as well.
