February 24–25, 2009 — Big Bend Ranch SP — Backpack the Shutup — Spend two days backpacking and camping on "The Solitario," a nine-mile wide volcanic caldera. As part of the experience, the group will be traveling with an experienced park guide through the Lower Shutup and looking at 450 million years of geological history.
