Poinsettias have also been thought to be toxic to cats, but Wikipedia says otherwise. Several years ago, a relative called me and asked me to come and check on her cats. I noticed that there were some bite marks on her Poinsettias. Sure enough, the cats died in my hands. I'm convinced they are toxic. Who knows? It could have been something else.
