Bastrop is about 35 miles west of Warda. Bring your bikes if you like Bluff Creek. Buescher is about 2 miles from Rocky Hill Ranch. Very similar terrain to Bluff Creek but a hard 1 mile climb at the beginning. Warda is between Giddings and LaGrange on Hwy 77. It was probably one of those towns you remember.
