Big rock making pass at Mother Earth

An asteroid measuring between 500 - 2000' in diameter will pass us by (whew!) Tuesday. Supposedly it will not be closer than 334,000 miles, but that's close enough as far as I'm concerned. Folks with decent telescopes and weather may actually be able to spot it.

The next one this large that is known to be passing this close won't arrive until 2027.
