We gave some thought to bringing the bikes. We'll leave them at home this time. Since we are staying at Goliad just one day, I didn't want to fight with them while trying to load up in a hurry ( if it rained), also, didn't want to risk having them stolen on the second and third day of the trek ( corpus). Besides, we couldn't use them on the beach.

Now, if we can get a spot at Brazos, we're bringing them!
