If I am not tight for space we always use the old percolator type of coffee maker (ya know the kind ya see in old westerns), it makes the best tasting coffee IMO, my last trip when I was real tight for space we used the Folgers Coffee Singles and just heated water in 1 of our cook pots and we were very pleased with them.
The worst coffee I ever had was when we ran short of drinking water on one of our river trips and I just had to have my coffee that last morning so I used the nasty melted ice water out of the cooler :no:
