The community here on
WildTexas.com is the reason I'm still sane even though I have not camped (tent) in far too long, and have probably seen my solo camping days end before the scarcely began. Through the lively and wonderful trip reports shared here, I get to live vicariously through everyone's travels and trips until Justin and I can get back to doing that more often.
We had a wonderful time with Sara overnight (2 nights) at
Buescher State Park in mid-September, although we've been so busy we haven't done the obligatory trip report for it yet. We didn't do much hiking since it was our first real vacation with a then-6 month old, but it was great to enjoy the park and start exposing our wee one to the parks we love so well.
