I'm new also.
I'm new also to this site.
Have been camping for 20 yrs. in fact we for sure go once a month and here in the fall we are scheduled for everyother weekend. Live in Houston so we try to stay with-in 2-3 hrs of home. Have not been west of San A. or Austin.
I just know it is hard to find a 'public' spot with very little notice. Books up fast.:mad:
