Our kids are 10, 8, 4, and almost 2. We need a new tent cause ours got worn out! We had so many camping trips to Mustang Island, a few during thunderstorms, that the poles have snapped and we had to order new ones...and have residual sand in it at all times. It's been to Mustang Island, Big Bend and many places in between. Mager's River camp always was the spot for our church's mother-daughter campout every fall, until we moved up to Ft. Worth. But I had to take the baby boy along too if he was nursing
! I only have one girl so I couldn't miss it. Lots of father-son scout campouts too. I've never camped in anything other than a small tent. I was just thinking of posting for advice on what to get next...we need a bigger tent at least, but one that can withstand the beach winds if we decide to keep beach camping. It's a bit further now.
