Yeah, it still rotates. That's one of the attractions of the place. We didn't have time to eat there this time. But we went all the way to the top to the observation deck. Man, was it breezy. Just imagine when the temps are in the forties. If the Landry's folks now own the restaurant, it should be at least decent food. They own all of the restaurants on the Kemah Boardwalk on Galveston Bay too. (This guy is a Donald Trump wannabe without the bad hair. )
Also with the price of admission to the Tower, you get to see a show called "Texas 4-D". You watch the show wearing 3-D glasses with the fourth dimension being able to feel certain things happening to you like the breeze from the helicopter blades. I won't spoil it for you but it's really cool. I'll go back next time I'm in San Antonio.
