I was surfing parks online today and wanted to know about Lake Texana State Park and Lake Fairfield State Park. They looked nice to me in text but wondered about in real life. Both have the water by them and looked good for some bank fishing or pier fishing. Looked like both have availability easily enough. Has anyone had experience with them? Lake Texana would be a shorter trip for us. This is tent camping, not sure if I am a purist or just cheap.
