Karen, I love that you feel like it was still a great trip after being ripped up by the wind. You always sound like a really easy-going person! Great example for your son!

Where/when are you off to next? We had plans to go to Pedernales Oct 26/27 but have to change it since DD has a Brownie troop campout that weekend. So, I'm not sure if we can find something else yet. Won't be able to go until the 2nd weekend in Nov and not sure if it'll be cold by then. I'd like to try cooler weather camping, but that's also the weekend the time changes. With the weatther being unpredictable at that time, I'm not sure Pedernales is the best bet...? Maybe Inks. We really want to see Longhorn Caverns, so something close to it and not far from Austin.

Seminole sounds so cool! DD would love it. Thanks for your post.
