Hi and welcome,
If you camp at Surfside Beach most of the beach is primative -bo-jon potties .Try camping at or near Stahlman park under the house theres showers and toilets, also at the east end of the beach is the jetties theres showers and toilets also. While driving to the beach you will notice a car wash ,they also have coin showers there.Quintana Park has showers and better camp area, but they charge to camp.Quintana Beach also has primative camping also .Be sure and bring some bug spray and some extra wood.Don"t pitch tent close to water we are having really high tide runs right now.Wally World is only ten minutes away from each beach with many other smaller stores also. When you come over large bridge Surfside if you continue straight ahead that is the pay beach, turn left and two miles is the free beach.Turn right takes you to jetties ,also free area.No camping here is nothing like Garner, but it's still fun.Hope this helps .
