i was listening to someone not to long ago talking about going fishing and having problems with his coleman lantern, when i thought about that famous hisss that comes from a lantern. thinking of that one sound brought me back to every camping trip as a child, and to every fishing trip that lasted over night. it is that sound that made want to go camping again and to take my kids for their first trip so they could enjoy the outdoors that i forgot about.

what things make you instantly think of camping when you see/hear it.
