We were just in that area last week. The skies are insanely dark out there. The Milky Way does look like a cloud because it is so clear. The Prude Ranch looks to be a great retreat location. As we passed by, a group of folks were enjoying an into to horsemanship class in the arena. The Observatory was interesting. We had small children in tow who were quite bored with the information overload but if you are an astronomy enthusiast, get your travel plans set.
