Howdy
Just found this forum and it looks like what I've been looking for. I'm from Texas and live in the Dallas area, but try to get out to the wilds whenever I can for some backpacking and backcountry camping. Recent backcountry excursions include four nights in Big Bend, including one night on the South Rim; Dinosaur Valley; and Enchanted Rock. Headed for Vancouver and an overnight hike on Golden Ears next week.
Anyways, this forum looks like a great place to meet fellow backpackers, and I'm happy to be here. See you on the trail.
