Re: Blanco State Park

Welcome aboard, Kim. Hope we can help.

There is not a huge amount to do around Blanco SP. It is located in a quiet town and except for the river, there is little else in the way of attractions. The park is nice and if your looking for a quiet place for a vacation with some swimming, fishing and small boating, Blanco should fit well. If you'll check a bit further up on this thread, you will find a link in another post that I wrote. That link will take you to a review of Blanco SP that I wrote about 18 months ago. Haven't returned to that park since but the info contained should still be valid. Picture link in the review will no longer work work as I am using another service.

Hope this all helps and you have a great trip. Again, welcome aboard and,

Happy Camping!
