Hello All,
I just moved to the NW area of SA and I've always wanted to go cast a line at Medina. I've drove around it a couple of times trying to find that sweet spot where you can fish from the bank, and not get run off at night. I'm looking for a decent spot where you can bank fish, enjoy snacks, and fish all night; but it seems impossible at Medina. That's a shame since it's a stunning lake. Like I said, I've driven up and down and saw nothing but private property with barbed wire fences blocking the lake side. The few spots that offered any fishing access were heavily controlled, offered a small fishing area, and would run you off by the end of the afternoon. Does anyone know of that great fishing spot, because I would sure love to know. Any advice or knowledge of the lake would be greatly appreciated. I usually go to Calaveras and I absolutely love it, but with the gas rate inflation; I would like to be closer to the homestead. I just renewed my license, and would like to use it soon!
