Re: Camping on Mustang Island

Who needs bikes at the beach when you can play in the water and get a tan!

Me and mine have camped at MISP a few times. Not really great as far as camping goes, but a nice, inexpensive place with utilities that gave us a cool trailer to retreat to after a day in the hot sun.

From what I can recall, the restrooms are clean enough, but you do have to climb stairs to get to them. Not an issue for me but I thought it worth mentioning. Never used the showers there (have one in my trailer), but I've seen the button thingy at one other park and it can be a pain having to keep pushing it to get water to come out.

Word of warning...do NOT feed the seagulls or you'll never be rid of them!

Word of warning, part ll...take sunblock and DEET.
