I met a guy last week who said he has camped along the Frio River and as I search this site, I see there are many places. For those of you who have had experience with some of these sites, maybe you could suggest one or that suits me.

My wife and I and maybe a couple close friends would like to find an out-of-the-way place that is not crowded for some tent camping. It must dog friendly and have a descent area to setup a tent. I can maintain a leash on the dog, but it would be great if he could get in the water too. It can be VERY primitive as we require no electricity or water.
