Unfortunately, our sunset here in Texas isn't until 6:32 PM on March 3rd (the same time the moon will rise over our horizon) and it's not fully dark until 7:51 PM, so we won't get the best taste of the lunar eclipse. The eclipse will be over by 7:50 PM CST, when the moon is not even that high in our sky. (Source: http://www.nbtx.com/skywatchers/index.htm)

But still, it pays to look up now and then!

This is the first of only two total lunar eclipses this year, and it's the first total lunar eclipse since 2004.
