Big Bend rocks! It's a big place, but Yellowstone is WAY bigger. There are plenty of opportunities for solitude and if you enjoy wildlife it's the premier spot in the lower 48. I spent a week in Yellowstone in July and went on hikes where I didn't see any people for hours.
