Reading your account of the raccoons brought back memories of one visit there. I had learned to 'coon proof the coolers thru the years and thought I had that time. We were in a pop-up and i put the cooler under the bed. You could not lift the lid more than an inch at most. You guessed it, little rascals were able to clean out a pound of bacon and 11 out 12 eggs while we slept above them. Guess they were being kind to leave one egg for 4 adults and two children!
