Unfortunantly I would have to disagree when you say that wind turbines dont produce very much electricity. Although I dont know the exact numbers I do know a lot of land owners around my area that make about $10,000 a month per, and we are talking hundreds of turbines. Now when it comes to hot or cold I have seen these turbines running non-stop whether or not the temperature is below freezing or our normal over 100 degree days. Wind energy is a very good source of renewable energy it is just a shame that it will take a lot of space to put all these turbines. But that is a good thing about west Texas, the two things that we have plenty of is space and wind and this is a good way to capatalize on both.
