Go to my profile and find another picture of the falls between Dream Lake and Emerald Lake. As others have probably noted in Turn Key's pictures, there are plenty of others sharing the trails. If one seeks any semblance of solititude, you have to start hiking early, like 8 am or earlier.
We were usually on the trail by 5:30 AM, 6 AM at the latest, especially if we hoped to get any altitude (this is in August/September; still a risk of thunderstorms, etc.)

Can't wait to return!
