Re: Discuss: Medina Lake Parks
I grew up and now live at Medina Lake. My parents moved into Pebble Beach in 1975, they have no public access to the lake. I love were I live but over the years here in Lakehills more rif raf have moved in. People don't realize that both Lakehills and Mico are more retirement communites and over the years the people that did own the nice parks have passed on. There are several Marines that are very nice in the Mico area but not in the Lakehills area due to most of the land is privately owned. Goat Hill Camp is nice but is very run down. I agree the County Park is a disgrace to our county and can be improved but every time an improvement is made rif raf destroy it. James Anderson park is very nice but is closed to the public (which is good) at least part of the lake will stay beautiful. Bob Cove run down and the road to it is very narrow and to far off the main road. Goat Hill camp owners is very nice but site is very run down. Scenic Harbor is in Elm Creek cove and when the lake goes down the cove goes empty. Thousand Trails very nice but very pricey to become a member. Thats about it for all the big areas but there are small areas that are very nice too. Don't forget the Cajun Fest the 4th sat in September the money goes to our community center.
