Hello, I just wanted to say thanks for the replies.
I was able to get a few leads this past week that I wanted to share.
A hotel manager from Port Aransas emailed me saying "I am not aware of any rules against using metal detectors on the beach. I see people using them all the time."
Also a lady from the
sopadre.com website told me that dogs and metal detectors are allowed at Isla Blanca Park located on the right side of south padre island as you enter.
And I found this website
