I got off work at midnight last night and got to hear the kooks on AM Coast To Coast say there are a couple of issues NASA has decided not to deal with. They said there seems to be an unusual sense of urgency to get this shuttle in the air.

NASA doesn't seem to manage risk well. They act like the company I work for where technical lightweights with too much personality and ego are making decisions based on the next stock reports, which negatively affect the quality of the product.

My prayers are with the astronauts. I hope the new space vehicle comes with a solid team of scientists who are allowed to make it work better than the current system.
