Went out this morning to fire up the grill. Took the cover off and here's a young rattlesnake sitting on the side burner:eek: :eek: :eek: ! He tried crawling into the main part of the grill and I had to fire it up to use the heat to drive him out. Had a heck of a time getting him down on the concrete patio so I could send him to his maker. Finally got the head cut off with a hoe. Guess I'm going to have to watch closer. Have had snakes in the yard in the past but this is the first rattler I've come across. You can bet I'll be watching real close the next time I go after firewood
