I agree! C'mon down!

I am a transplant from California myself, but TX is certainly home now. I'm in Austin and LOVE it here. It'll be a transition, but you can do it. Keep in mind the "forests" don't really exist here like you know them. A big tree (to a Central Texan anyways) is like 20' because the ground is solid limestone.

Texas is a wonderful place to call home and being "from somewhere else" you won't be alone!
