I do not believe that Longhorn Cavern is an active cave. It was formed millions of years ago and goes back into the Earth for miles. The CCC only cleared 3-4 rooms of debris.

Active caves like Natural Bridge Caverns have rivers flowing through them (especially when it floods). If you like sparkles, then the Caverns of Sonora are for you. Its like being inside a geode.
