I would add a tarp or two. One for the ground and one to shield your tent in case of rain. I was camping with some friends on the Guadalupe River one time and had my tarps. It rained and by the end of the night, all my friends were in my tent.
Also a rope is handy for many reasons, including putting your garbage and/or food out of reach of raccoons.
Cinnamon or other natural ant repellent will help too.
Earth friendly tip:
Make your own firestarters. Save cardboard egg cartons, dryer lint and candle remnants. Place lint in egg cups, melt and pour wax over lint. Cut cups apart and use to start fires.
