I am planning a trip to the Texas Gulf Coast, the last 2 wks in April. I am planning on starting in Port Arthur and working my way south and west. I am looking for primitive tent camping and an occasional small motel. I am intersted in more information about Sabine Pass Battleground SP, Tony Houseman WMA, Bryan Beach State Recreation Area and Matagorda Bay Nature Park. I would appreciate any information/advice about these places or any other primitive camping areas.
