Hi there!

We are planning on taking a group camping trip (approx 8 people + kiddos) within the next month or so. We were thinking about renting a cabin instead of "roughing it" in a tent for our first outing with the little ones and I was wondering if any of you had any advice/suggestions on any good cabins in or around the SP. We would like to stay within 4 hours from Houston if possible. McKinney Falls SP looks great as does somewhere along the Guadalupe River (or somewhere in that general direction) What do you all think of those places or do you have better suggestions. As I said this is the first time taking the kids out and the first time camping period for some people so we would like to get a cabin if possible but still want the "camping" experience.

Any advice/ideas/suggestions would be GREAT!!!!
