If you haven't been watching, weather in North Central Texas is not at all nice today! Grass is already slick with ice and more is coming down. They say it's going to be pretty nasty by the middle of the afternoon. And to think that I had the AC on last week!!! Only in Texas :laugh:!

DD drives a school bus and was supposed to take GD and her class on a field trip this afternoon. It got cancelled and I'm happy about that but DD still has to drive her route again today. DS works in the Mid-Cities and will have to drive home to north Johnson county this afternoon. Hope he leaves work early.

DW and I are lucky as Wednesday and Thursday are our "weekend". Got off work this morning at 7 and got everything done by 10. Intend to spend tonight watching wood burn in the fireplace and watch Christmas movies (Lampone's "Christmas Vacation" is top of the hit parade :cool: !).

Hope every one stays safe and warm over the next few days. Stay out of the cold. It's not worth it!
