Agreed, Jeff! The only reason I didn't recommend
Brazos Bend SP was because the original poster had mentioned swimming. With all the wonderful alligators out there (adults and young'uns), it's not the place to swim, but it sure it a terrific place for photography, hiking and wildlife watching!
