Agreed. Now, if we could just get the in-state college tuition mess sorted out for our men and women in uniform as well.
If you haven't heard, a quick summary is that a returning serviceman (two tours in Iraq, as well as tours elsewhere) who resides in Texas when he's not deployed has returned to Texas and been denied in-state tuition because he "doesn't qualify". It seems his time spent in Iraq, in the service of our country, takes away his right to in-state tuition. Bah....
Thankfully, it's getting a lot of play in the news and on the radio and will hopefully knock some sense into our legislators up in Austin so they can do something about it.
