I would like to add Canyon Lake Corp of Engineer park. The Madrone trail is nice and free, with great views of the lake, and you can camp or swim, when you are done for a minor fee. 35 North from SA, West on 306, left into Canyon Lake park, trailhead on the right. Fun trail, not too tough, great for the singlespeed enthusiast!
